Cinna-Claus Churro Cheer Christmas Coffee
A Christmas latte inspired by churros, sweetened by sweetened condensed milk and featuring a cinnamon sugar dusting on top of the foam

or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee

milk (dairy or nut) - divided

sweetened condensed milk

vanilla extract
Instructions
In a small, shallow bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground ginger (if you're using it)
Optional step: wet the rims of 2 latte glasses with water or a bit of honey and then dip the rims into the sugar mixture
Heat 1 cup of the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming (but not boilig)
Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, and stir well
Prepare 2 shots of espresso (or strong coffee) and divide between the 2 latte glasses
Add the hot milk mixture to each cup and stir well
In the same saucepan, heat the remaining 1/2 cup of milk to steaming
Froth the milk with a milk frother (or whisk if you don't have one)
Add the milk froth to the coffees - using a spoon to hold back the froth, allowing any liquid to be added first, and then spoon the foam on top
Sprinkle the top with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture
