Instructions
To begin with the construction of this delicious morning pick-me-up, you will first need to measure out your espresso. For a sweeter taste and stronger kick, try out blonde espresso roast. Despite it being a lighter and sweeter tasting roast, it actually has more caffeine than your standard espresso roast. Barista Tip: As someone who really enjoys the flavor of cinnamon, I like to add cinnamon into my coffee filter with the espresso for a stronger hint of that flavor.
Next, sprinkle out 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder and then measure out 2 teaspoons of brown sugar to add into your shaker. Depending on how sweet you like your drinks, feel free to add more or less brown sugar.
After all of this is prepped, you will begin brewing the espresso straight into the shaker and let all of these ingredients combine.
Once your espresso is finished brewing, you will add a generous amount of ice into the shaker in order to cool your espresso and prevent the ice from melting. Give all of that a good shake (count to 10 shakes as an easy memory tip) and empty the contents into your favorite glass.
The final step is to add a splash of your favorite milk or creamer and fill up the rest of your glass.
All that’s left to do is stir it up and enjoy! You will be on your way in about 5 minutes with this short, simple recipe and be ready for anything life throws at you!
